The announcement from the words of Rev Sun Myung Moon; as portrayed in the article below, tells us, (with no shadow cast), that the time that we are living in today, is, 'the most blessed and exalted time' in history. (1) That's quite a high-minded, noble and lofty statement: Yet, floating down to the world we are living in; we can see there is a also a great contrast; a great conflict – almost like there are two worlds – living and breathing; side by side – but, discordantly, they do not abide hand-in-hand.
Is it really credible though; that with all the truth, beauty and goodness that God has been continually pouring down upon us, that we still have the Cain and Abel scenario dragging on? There is, clearly, a need for some serious 'growing up' that needs to be done; to bring about this ideal world. Growing up. Making changes. A time period: How long have we been here - six billion years? If now is the time for a new beginning – then how do we release ourselves from a cycle that seems to have encircled us like a ball in the net...?
On the one side, we have seen borne in; the most awesome (almost incredible) scientific discoveries: Did you know that a scientist has discovered that even bacteria can talk to each other?: That's a whole and separate biology of thinking - and talking - for any budding scientist to get their head around. But, do you think this bacteria would be at war or conflict with each other? It sounded to me like they were having a field day. Looking further up the food chain at the animal kingdom; even though, some animals contest each other (eg. for the female in their life!), nonetheless, however, they do not exist in conflict. They live in a peaceful ideal world...
On the other side of the playing field – there's another kind of ball that's rolling around : We could think of this as the ball of life: As we will be very much aware; while the planet itself has been revolving over these billions of years, it has picked up some really tacky and de-grading stuff. There's still very much an ominous 'dark side' that performs within the circle of our planet. A distant glimmer from the ideal world. We don't have to pick up the daily newspaper or even listen to the news. Some of this is surrounding us (almost like a ball itself). How is that 'dark side' affecting us; (we, being in the very midst of it?). Some see this as an ideology that has gripped this world; almost by the throat; and that is crippling it: Namely, it's Humanism. Read: Humanism-Relativism: The Most Dangerous Ideology of Today (2). In summary, though, it stems from 'unprincipled' thought and actions: It's Destructive. It's Damaging. And its trespass is destroying the human soul…
So we have these two worlds. There's definitely a turmoil still going on. And there's definitely a convulsion of truth in the world. So where did this conflict come from? What was the original core of it all? It had to start from somewhere. So, what happened? Why hasn't the ideal world of peace yet logged in? And why has humankind been on this deadly roller-coaster, that has been plunging the history of humankind into a netherworld of gloom? Surely, it's our most innate wish to not be enmeshed by this way of thinking? Tragically, however, the seed, and the fruit it has given birth to, has been germinating for a very long time...
The results of this unprincipled thinking has taken its root and is implanted in many different areas and sectors of our society and world. How do we find a way to get out of this; to rise above it? If the ideal world that was originally built as the most beautiful Garden of Eden; (trees, flowers, birds, bees, and then the animals), has become entangled with weeds that are strangling it – as a result of humanistic secular ideology - how do we find a solution? It wasn't the birds and the bees that created the first problem of humankind...
In fact, when God created Adam and Eve, He invested His entire being with the standard of absolute love, absolute faith, and absolute obedience. He gave human beings the seed for their love and life. But the realm of the lineage given to them by God was lost through the tragedy of the human fall. Today we must understand with certainty that all human beings, without exception, are descendants of the fall. (3)
We call our planet, the universe. But, we, the inhabitants are not unified. We do not yet live in the peaceful ideal world. So, in the midst of what is sometimes seen as despair; anarchy; pain and the human suffering that is being caused by this unprincipled thinking - is there hope for humankind?
The absolutely good news is : Yes. There most definitely is: Coming as the Lord of the Second Advent, Rev. Sun Myung Moon and his wife, Dr Hak Ja Han Moon, who have already graced this planet for several decades, are steadfastly, leading the way as the True Parents of Humankind: Throughout his whole lifetime, Rev. Moon; inheriting the mission of Jesus; (who tragically, only completed three years of his public ministry before he was sent to the cross), has absolutely and devotedly followed the Will of God: Rev Moon and his wife (whom UC members affectionately and respectfully call the True Parents), have been steering in the Heavenly Kingdom, with initiatives that are most certainly divine in origin and most definitely purposed to bring this unprincipled world back to the one true Sovereign, God.
Rev. Moon talks about all these things in great detail. In fact he talks about most things in a thought-provoking, deeply inspiring; yet charismatic way. If you would like to read further about Rev Moon; his remarkable life and memoirs have now been published in his autobiography (4). He is a parent, grandparent and great grandparent himself: Notwithstanding all that, and as a reminder: Rev Moon is the Messiah. And as The Messiah he holds a Mission: He has been performing this mission with exacting, total and absolute sincerity: 24 carat gold. Nothing forestalls True Father. The Absolute Messiah. The Absolute Mission : And the Advent of the Peaceful Ideal World - as we are reading this, is now heralding in on the horizon...
“I have spoken and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.” Isaiah 46:11.
Speaking at the Peace Tournament Cup in Seville last year, Rev Moon inscribed the importance of seeking absoluteness in our relationship:. Pure Love: Fidelity. Faithfulness. Rev Moon used the round shape of a ball to illuminate this point. Looking at our life in the context of a ball: Some people might see this as a kind of yin/yang. Half the ball is on the yin side and half is on the yang side: And, in an ideal peaceful world, both halves would be living together, without conflict – totally united as one. (5)
Why is absoluteness such an essential part of what True Father continuously speaks about? It is because absoluteness follows the Word and the Word came from God: And God's commandment was to follow the Word, but unfortunately, Adam and Eve, (the first human ancestors), failed to follow God's Word and the result of this disobedience was that they fell (6): They were, however, originally, to have grown to maturity and blessed in a holy marriage ceremony; (performed by no other than the one True Sovereign, God), but this, tragically, could not take place. Now, however, all people without exception can receive this blessing from True Parents in the three stages of rebirth, resurrection and eternal life (7). As foretold in the bible: Go forth, multiply and have dominion...
Since the time of the fall, God, knowing the cause of human suffering, has been trying to restore the 'fallen' history of humankind. God has been steadfastly conducting a twofold providence (both in this world and in the spirit world) to restore the world to a sovereignty of goodness. Up until the birth of Rev. Moon (True Father), however, this had not been possible. Contrastingly, however, since Rev. Moon's birth, and throughout the toil and dedication of his life, (a lifetime of outstanding accomplishments); Rev. Moon has kept the ball rolling constantly for the side of goodness; cleaning up everything in his path: It has been a long and victorious journey, (and the content vast), but this world is now unfolding and presenting itself as a New Heaven and a New Earth: That is why we are now living in this 'most blessed and exalted time'...
When God created us humans as his children; the main reason for our creation was to bring Him unending and reciprocal joy. We were meant to be co-creators with God: As the original, absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal being, God created people by breathing His love into them to endow them with a soul. If not for the Fall, we would have been able to perfect ourselves as God is perfect, and attain eternal life. (8)
Attaining eternal life: Being unique and unchanging. Being consistent in reaching our goal: Rev. Moon's youngest son, Hyung Jin Nim Moon, speaks very eloquently on this subject, and others; in his video entitled, “Magic Bird: The Power of Consistency (being one part of a five-part series):” As extracted from his talk : 'Consistency can wear down criticism...it can wear down your obstacles' (9).
We are now on the threshold of the peaceful ideal world. There is, however, one main thing we all need to do, (as individuals; as well as being a part of the whole); we each need to fulfil our own portion of responsibility. This entails some effort on our part: Before you read further, however, digest: We are not alone in this event. There are over 400 billion absolutely restored good ancestors to guide and help us along the way, (as well as the four great religious founders): Jesus Christ and Buddha being two of them.
And, returning to the time period mentioned before: A special providential date is also on the horizon: It has been named, Foundation Day: This Day is set for 13 January 2013: We need to be truly connected to this providential time: Rev. In Jin Moon , the third daughter of True Father, is telling us, very articulately, that we now need to become like plowmen; as she quotes a passage from the bible (Amos 9:13): "The day is coming, declares the Lord, when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman" (10): Rev. In Jin Moon's message is very clear: pick up your plowshare; as everyone needs to come on board: We may find our journey a little bumpy sometimes, (Davo and Tony, hosting Rev Moon radio, describe it as a kind of 'frothy turbulence') (11): Rev. So, to some degree, it's going to be a little bit like going through school again. There will be a few tests along the way. But like school, we can pass the test. (That's the whole idea.) We can pass all the tests. And we can do so with flying colours. The certificate at the end of it, is going to be worth it. For you, for me, for our families, for our nation, our world and cosmos. It will be like a new certificate of life. Gone will be discordance and despair. In its place there will be a new hope. A new dawning and age. A new flag flying: The Unification Flag for the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth: Truly the Advent of a Peaceful Ideal World.
The prophesy is that God has foreordained the fulfillment of His Will; hence, the goal of the providence of restoration is unchanging and shall be fulfilled without fail (12).
All will be crystal clear...like a new shiny ball that glistens and glows...
